2024 Election News
Las Vegas, January 18, 2024 – The 2024 campaign season has officially begun, and judicial candidates are already vying for votes. On the heels of filing her candidacy for Municipal Court Judge, Department 5, Rebecca Wolfson hosted her campaign kickoff at Siegel’s Bagelmania Thursday evening. Countless prominent guests attended the event to support the candidate, but none as important to her as her parents, current Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson and retired Judge Jackie Glass. The event also drew various Las Vegas leaders in professions ranging from legal and political to law enforcement and business.
Local entrepreneur Antonio Accornero attended Thursday’s gathering and has pledged his support of Wolfson for Judge. “I believe that Rebecca is the best candidate for Municipal Court Judge,” said Accornero. “She will bring a fresh perspective to the judiciary and will prove to be a leader in her field.” Former U.S. Representative for Nevada’s 1st congressional district and current 2024 Las Vegas Mayoral candidate Shelley Berkley was also present in a show of support for Wolfson’s campaign.
